All of our adventures tours have a grading system based on a number, a letter and FP. The letter refers to the technical difficulty of the trip, and the number to the level of fitness required. The higher the grade combination, the more strenuous the cycle and the more previous cycling experience is required. Note the grade of the trip highlighted in the button along side the trip image, and then click on the grade to view the full grading system

This route heads uphill on jeep tracks through forests and small villages with excellent views of Kathmandu Valley. The route covers single tracks, hard surfaces and steep ascents with some narrow ridges.

We cycle along paved roads from Thimpu to Punakha and the Phobjika glacial valley where the rare black-necked cranes from Tibet spend the winter. We cycle over several passes in the Black Mountains and then to the Bumthang Valley.
